ORDERS

Once I have placed an order online, can I make changes to or cancel?
At KALA, we stride to make your shopping experience exceptional. We will be more than happy to assist you in any capacity relating to our site, questions that you have about your handmade jewelry order, as well as inquiries about items that are online. Please e-mail us at kalahandmadewithlove@gmail.com. Once an order is paid it is complete and there will be a cancelled order fee.

How will I know if you have received my order?

An automatic response will be sent to your provided e-mail address confirming that KALA has received your order. If you do not receive this e-mail within 24 hours, please e-mail and we will be able to check the status of your order.

When should I expect my order to arrive?
  
At KALA, each piece is made to order so please allow up to 14 days for your item to ship. All orders are shipped via USPS Priority Mail. Transit times very if your order is being shipped out of the country, to a rural address or during holiday seasons. 

SHIPPING

How much will it cost to ship my order?
  
We truly appreciate your business, KALA ships all packages for a flat rate of $10.00 via USPS to the United States and per size and weight internationally. 

How will I be able to track my package?
  
Upon shipping, KALA will send you a confirmation e-mail which will include a USPS Priority Mail tracking number. 

Will I be charged sales tax?
Residents outside of the state of California will not be charged sales tax. Shipping within the state of California will be charged 7.25% sales tax.

RETURN/EXCHANGES

What is your return/exchange policy?

At KALA, we do not accept returns unless the item is broken or damaged. Returns requested after 2 weeks will not be accepted. Jewelry may only be returned for store credit or exchanged. Please email us atkalahandmadewithlove@gmail.com to begin the return process. 

The item must be returned to KALA in original condition for return/exchange to be processed. Once processed, KALA store credit will be e-mailed via electronic gift card. Please note that return items purchased with an e-gift card will be refunded to the original gift card.  Gift cards themselves cannot be returned or exchanged.

Customer is responsible for all return shipping costs.

Taxes / Duties on refused shipments (International Only): 

If international shipment(s) from KALA are refused and jewelry is returned to us, the customer will be responsible for the original shipping charges, as well as any duties, taxes or customs charges incurred on the package.  This applies to both the original and return shipment. .

KALA is not responsible for lost or damaged goods that are being returned. Please pack your returns properly. 
 If your item arrives damaged or missing from the package KALA is not responsible for improperly packed items.

PAYMENT

What methods of payment does KALA accept?
KALA  accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Paypal. We do not accept checks via Paypal. Any orders processed this way will be cancelled.


DISCOUNT CODES

How do I use a promotional or discount code that I have received when checking out with Paypal?

Once you are ready to checkout, you will be redirected to Paypal to enter your credit card information, after which you will come back to our site where you can enter the your given code into the box marked “Promotional or Discount Code.” Once you press the "apply coupon" button the page will refresh and pricing information will update.
